Ryan was born and raised in the fine town of Poplar Bluff by Judy and Norman Davis. He has five older sisters and several nieces and nephews. Ryan graduated from high school in May of 1998 and went on to Three Rivers Community College to continue his education.

In May of 2004 he graduated with a B.S. from Southeast Missouri State University. He now spends the majority of his time with his wife Alicia and their two children; Serena and Camden. He is going in to his third year of youth ministry at First United Methodist Church of Poplar Bluff.
