A native of Kennett, MO, Heath graduated from Southeast Missouri State College, was an elementary school teacher, and during her stay-at-home-Mom/Volunteer days, raised two children (Beth and Kent). She answered her call to ministry in 1983 and began her service at FUMC/PB as director of Christian Education, receiving her certification as an Associate in Christian Education.

Even though Heath is responsible for programming for all ages, her passion is in planning opportunities which help children progress along their faith journey: Learning to use my bible class for 3rd graders; WOW, Explosion, and Fall-Out summer Camps for grades 1-12; WILD Ones, Wonderful Wednesday Class; Acolyte Ministry; Created by God human sexuality study, etc.

The Walk to Emmaus and Girl Scouting are experiences that have significantly impacted Heath's life. She and her husband, Joe, bring to our church a sincere enthusiasm to be of service to the Body of Christ, and a deep desire to see FUMC/PB and the kingdom of God grow and prosper.
