A bootheel boy (!), born in Senath, MO on June 22.

Charles is married to his wonderful wife Pam, and together they have three adult children (Sherilyn, Chris, Mike) and five grandchildren.

Charles earned his B.A. at Central Methodist University and his M. Div. at St. Paul School of Theology Methodist.

Charles has a heart for people. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and is an avid sports fan, especially the St. Louis Cardinals and the Mizzou Tigers.

His favorite movie is “Hoosiers”, and Charles is a retired MHSAA basketball official.

Charles considers two of the most important things he does at FUMC is to learn the names of all who belong to the church family, and preparing worship and sermons that encourage us all to be Disciples of Jesus Christ.
