We're a fusion of young adults and singles. If you're looking for a group where "common ground" is living in the "real world," the the Common Ground class invites you to join us as we seek God for "real practical answers to real life situations."

The Mike Laseter Class

Class Size: 10-12
We are a loving, close knit, inviting class who studies the Word of God. Varying age groups bring varying view points to our discussions. All are invited.

College Ministry

Ministry/Small Group for college-aged people.

Phoenix Class

Age Group: 45+
Class Size: 25-30
We are a fun-loving group of adults who enjoy gathering and exploring God's message. Our lively discussions are both entertaining and enlightening as we focus on applying our faith to our daily life. We enjoy being active in the church ministries and have adopted the motto "More than family, we are friends; More than friends, we are family." We share together the blessings of God - Phil. 1:7 (TLB)

Tri-Mu Class

Class Size: 15-20
Our main focus is Bible Study and discussion. We are mission-minded, giving on a regular basis and supporting mission projects of our church. We affirm our members and lift one another up in love.

Sonshine Class
Room: CLC #2
Age: 16+
First United Methodist offers a special needs ministry for those members of our community ages 16 or older with
developmental disabilities.  The United Methodist Church recognizes and receives the gifts of persons with disabilities to enable them to be full participants in the community of faith.  A variety of instructional methods are utilized to communicate Christ’s message of inclusion and acceptance.  Transportation within the local commuting area is available.  Special events are programmed quarterly in addition to the Sunday class

Class Size: 8-10
What started out to be the young adult class has now aged a little. We are a lively and welcoming group who studies lessons relating God's Word to our everyday lives. Whatever age you are, marital status or occupation, come and join in the lively, yet humorous discussions.

Wesleyan Class

Age Group: 60+
Class size 40-60
Following a tradition of Bible-based lessons for over 50 years, our teachers lead our class in seeking God's wisdom and love for our lives. The strong friendships among us give us many reasons for joy, as well as support for each other when difficulties enter our lives. We welcome YOU!
